What About You?
What books or series would you like to see on this blog? It doesn't have to be AR, just literature to get young folks blogging. Even the Clique series if we must...:)
I think that you should put the Pendragon series on here. Some people don't like the series because they think that it is predictable. I disagree. When I read these books it keeps me on the edge of my seat. I am always ready to find out what is going to happen next. ajs 3-4
I heard that was a good book. But I don't like how there are so many books out there I like to read, and they end up not even being in the AR system. I don't like it. And to be honest, what 4th grader would read Twilight? I also think the levels are a bit mixed up too.
The Pendragon series is predictable and gets lame over time, because when Bobby learns to fight in book 6, he becomes a freakin' beast, and he wins every fight. The series lost its luster for me around book 2, because I could predict everything that would happen. -Thomas Mullenix
you should put the Fronterisman on this it is a really good book and you learn a lot about the past from this book. I couldn't put it down. I would also like to see the books Milkweed and Night. I would recommend reading these if you like reading books about world war 2 and the Nazi's I couldn't put these books down at all I was up till 2 in the morning finishing these books.
salut! just some book suggestions, The Lovely Bones, Black Rabbit Summer, The Apt Pupil, Identical, The Color Purple, The Lightning Thief, Lord of the Flies. Although most of these are for older readers, some eighth graders may be interested. Also, if youre ever looking for a good short story, 'Where are you going, where have you been' is a very good one, although kind of disturbing, we read it for class and we had no problem coming up with conversations.
Why don't you put some clique books on here? I love them! Plus, they're usually like 5-6 AR points!
